Training Programs Lacking According to Employees
Though the nation’s employers have increased their efforts to ramp up training and development programs, employees are largely unimpressed with the end results. According to a recent study, 96% of human resources executives from U.S. companies noted that their training and development programs have grown.
A separate survey, however, found that only 46% of adult workers are satisfied with the training programs available to them at work. A full 21% indicated that they are not at all satisfied. The studies indicated that the gap between executive management and employees extends beyond the traditional workplace issues into the realm of training and development programs as well, a gap that will likely be studied further by HR execs moving forward.
